- have notifications pop up in your web browser using RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds. Find the RSS or Atom feed link and bookmark it. Set up your preferences in your web browser so that RSS Feeds are activated. When you are in your browser you will now see a little star/number every time a new post is added.

- get texts/emails sent to you with new posts. This is more information delivery than I would personally want but some folks like it.
- Have a program or site that you log onto periodically that is linked to the blogs you follow.
- Google Reader is part of the Google apps package and therefore is a logical choice
- you can subscribe to the feeds on your iPad using the slick Flipboard program
